Welcome to christophkrauss.de

I am professor for network security at University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and head of the department "Cyberphysical Systems Security" at Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT). We research and develop methods for improving the security and privacy of cyber-physical systems (CPS) and their communication connections. We offer (amongst others):

  • Security analyses
  • Development of security architectures and concepts for CPS applications
  • Studies and technology analyses
  • Trainings
  • Support during certification processes

My research focuses on diverse topics of information security and applied cryptography, including:

  • (Wireless) Network Security
  • Wireless Sensor Networks Security
  • Cyber Physical Systems Security
  • Smart Grid Security
  • Security in Ubiquitous Computing
  • Automotive Security
  • Efficient Cryptography and Cryptographic Protocols
  • Trusted Computing
